Millennium Gallery Cafe
Together with Interior Designer Rebecca Davies, Nest Contracts were approached by Museums Sheffield to redesign and refresh the Millennium Gallery Café.
The key objectives of this project were to create a creative hub which could offer a variety of seating areas and zones; for couples, for larger groups and to encourage professionals to use the space for meetings. A colour palette, which reflects the nearby earthy tones of the Peak District was established, as well as incorporating metals and reflective pieces to highlight Sheffield’s historic metal industry.
With this in mind, we supplied products that offered soft, cool, earthy tones and lighting that filled the vast open space and gave a subtle nod towards the history of Sheffield in both design and materials used.
