Malt have revived this tired London home into a cool and quirky space, well suited to its music-loving clients.
Nest Contracts supplied a collection of lighting and accessories to help bring the wow factor to this home refurbishment.
How do you breathe life back into a tired home? The interior designers at Malt were faced with this challenge when designing the refurbishment of this North London home. Being music lovers, the clients wanted to inject their personalities into their home, choosing rich colours, organic materials, and mid-century modern influences for their spaces.
Nest Contracts once again joined forces with the interior designer and owner of Malt, Lisa David to supply a selection of lighting and accessories to help the development of the clients’ vision for this interior.
The HAY Bowler Table and HAY DLM Side Table were used in the living area of the house, along with a cluster of Foscarini Gregg Suspension Lights to provide that show-stopper moment.
Accessories including the ferm LIVING Port Fireplace Tools were used in the lounge to add a sense of mid-century modernism to the room. In the music room, the Muuto Leaf Floor Lamp sits quietly in the corner, a perfect contrast of warm light to the blue neon light.
The clients sought a calmer and more inviting atmosphere for their guest room, with Malt choosing the Le Klint Model 172 Pendant Light to offer a delicate yet captivating ambience to the room. This was paired with the dynamic WOUD Annular Pendant Light as an alternative bedside light.
